Welcome to Room 7 - 3 Year olds

Dear Parents,
 
Hope your new year got off to a great start! It’s February now and we have lots of interesting and stimulating activities planned for the month. Our theme this month is Animals. Specifically, we will look at animals we have as pets, animals in the zoo, wild animals, and circus animals. As usual, we will be learning new letters, new numbers, a new color, and a new shape. Our letters of focus this month will be “Cc” and “Yy.” The color of the month is Pink (think Valentine’s Day!) and our new shape is a Heart! Finally, we will concentrate on numbers “6” (six) and “7” (seven). As always, we will be reading many wonderful books pertaining to our theme of the month.
 
As a reminder, the weather is changing constantly so please wear weather appropriate clothing. Also, given that Valentine’s Day is in February, we will be having a Sweetheart Dance on Friday, February 17. You will receive more details closer to the date. In addition, please remember to check your child’s folder daily for assignments and important correspondence. Finally, please see below for a list of Kids Town Learning center closings during the month and Room 7 birthdays!
